Going to fool around with mayo, garlic, lemon juice, A1 and dijon mustard tonight and see what happens.
Got any sandwich spread recipes?
It's about like this:
"Do you puff peters?"
"Hell no!"
"NAZI!!!"

I put one in a thread here sometime back. My great grandmother's green tomato sandwich spread. Works great as a starter for tartar sauce also. Don't have it handy but you might be able to find it.

Dukes mayo with Sriracha, Tony's, and a little vinegar.
Maybe a little L&P's for that anchovy wow!! I'm a big fan of the mayo and sriracha combo as well.

One summer go-to for us on sammiches is:
mayo lemon juice dijon mustard fresh horseradish fresh tarragon
All to your specific taste.
Same spread is our base artichoke dip as well.

Different things for different meats. Wife made Italian subs the other night, Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano.
Lots of time a ham sandwich will just get the bread buttered.
Bologna gets Dukes and Crystal hot sauce.
Turkey gets a little Dijon, or Dukes and sometimes Chipotle Aioli. Chipotle Aioli also goes on fish sandwiches.

Generally I use nothing. The majority of my sandwiches use Italian cuts and Swiss cheese so nothing is needed for me. On occasion, with ham for instance, a bit of Dukes mayo.
