OP davidlea Campfire Tracker D Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 3,906 Foley, Alabama	We've had an unusual turkey season in TN, one of the warmest late winters and early springs on record had birds in our area all out of sequence. A lot of very early breeding (I saw a hen with poults on tuesday) so it's been a bit of a challenge. Beefan got it done today using his Ruger 20ga O/U shooting Federal Heavy Shot. Stats on the gobbler- 22lbs., 9 1/2" beard and 7/8" spurs. Probably a three year old or a strong 2 year old. Nice bird! Golden............
