It's a nice beater rifle and was bought to fill the niche of the Blaser Deluxe Stutzen I had sold. It's not as nice as the OP's rifle as the stock was shortened and the pad is worn a bit. But it has a $450 scope (no travel case)and at an initial cost of $2500 I'm happy. Made me giggle when I shot the custom Hornady's in it.

Glad it tripped an inquiry for ya. About the K1's, I think what has hurt the "perceived value" on these "might" be the "base" price on the K3's. EuroOptic offers a new K3 at $2,415. 00 Even though that rifle has no scope mounts (a $400-ish option) this base price seems to scare away potential K1 buyers. I personally like the beefier scope mount set-up on the K1's and value them a couple hundred above the K3. Plus, the wood quality seems a notch above the 3's in many cases. But, that's only my opinion. Never did observe both in a side-by-side comparison. 'nuff babblin'. Back to work.

I am aware that the "half stocks" are selling for $2,400 and changge, but IIRC the last time I looked, the "jagd stutzen's" at Euro-optics are K3's not K1's and are priced at 27 benjamin's n' change. add the blaser style mount of the K3, a comparable scope and the case and I'd bet you'd be close to $3,500. Anywho, the buyer made an offer, we came to an agreement and a deal has been struck.
