My grandma had the same one. Went to Mom, and now it is mine. I always liked the lonesome cold look of it, and the warm ranch house. Wifes uncle in Wyoming had the same one on his wall. Wife's family had a ship sailing through a storm, I glommed onto that one too.

Since my wife is in hospital a lot, I have spent a lot of time looking at the reproduction paintings in the hallway of Anschutz Medical Center. Fur trade, Indians, miners, cowboys in all them. My favorites of them are "Long Jakes", and "The Last Shot". You can find them online, and prints for sale

Not that one. I think I have a pic of it somewhere. I'll try digging it up.

We got that last night.

It did that thing south and north and it hit us about 7:00 last night.

Not much was on the ground this am.

One picture i always liked was the one where the cowboy brought his horse to a hard stop at the door of the outhouse.

Bob,

there was a set of 4 prints that A-1 Brewing company reproduced, used to see them at the barber shop, or at the cigar-store. A-1 was "the Arizona Brand" I think they bottled it in Phoenix. the one in the barber shop, a guy was getting a shave, and he looked a lot like a wanted posted on the wall. the one in the bar, a cowboy was dreaming, using his saddle for a pillow, and a beautiful girl was riding through the clouds to him.

I have a lithograph of that painting in the original frame. I inherited it from a aunt. When I was young I would stare are it. It is so mesmerizing, it would scare me but I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It hangs in my den now and I still find myself staring at it
