Thrilled for all of you who are going to experience a great time doing nothing, or what ever you want. You should be a hero for the kids today but most aren't smart enough to know you are hero's.

Congratulations on your retirement - what years did you work on the B2 program? I was at Boeing on the B2 in a tooling group from '87 to '90 - that brings back memories from a lifetime ago.

JGray, two times.
The first was in 1981, I was a jig builder and we were grinding these huge autoclave layup tools that turned out to be for the wings.

The 2nd time was as a template maker in 1987, the PCM's were marked "581" but we all knew what plane it was. smile

Welcome to the Seven-Day Weekend. And congrats on the decision to move. Retirement is a big change, and there are some unforeseen drawbacks - but they do not outweigh the positives!

Boy, from a mullet and a tank top in your ID badge to dress shirt and tie! grin you certainly seem to have moved "up" while you were there, ha. Congratulations, enjoy the next phase.

Well Sportsdad60, be thinking of you when I am relaxing on Flathead the end of June.

A friend said about his recently retired BIL, every day's a Saturday, then throw in a Christmas... grin

My brother-in-law is a computer scientist for Boeing Military, has been there quite a while. He was in Wichita until they shut that down, moved to OKC, makes trips to Seattle on a regular basis. Big company, lots of people.
