If you lived closer to the Maine/NB border, I'd take it. Shipping would be expensive. I checked.  Bet you can buy a plane ticket. That would be one looooooooooong 3300 miles in that JEEP from Oregon to New Brunswick, Canada. I'd be driving a wheelchair by the time I got home.

I did 800 miles one day in it. True story. What is top speed on good road? I had a CJ7 6cyl 3 speed back in the day that would top out around 65mph. Didn't want t push it more than that.

Yeah you don't ever want to do 90 in a CJ5, so keep it to highway speeds. I drive slow on purpose and tend to take backroads whenever possible because that's how I roll. 65 is no problem, but I'm a 35-40 kind of guy, mucho relaxing.

oh man, a beaut,,,,
I have had three jeeps - a '78 CJ-5 with the 258, a '81 CJ-5 with the 304, and a '84 CJ-8 with a 258,,,,,all left me for various reasons related to military service over the years,,,,swore when I sold the CJ-8 in 2000 that I wouldn't buy another,,,,but that bad boy is so TEMPTING!!
