This is the single most important reason that I voted for Trump. He is in a position to put another badly needed Conservative on the SCOTUS.

There are a lot of things about him that I do not like to see in someone that is the most important person in the world.......but, that's on a personal level, and if he does the right thing on a business and political level, and so far he has, then I'll continue to support him.

Most of the really important things affect our country usually end up, in one form or another, in the hands of those 9 Supreme Court judges. If the balance of the court ever tips in the favor of the Liberals.....and it very easily could.....you can kiss America as we have known it goodbye. Hopefully Trump will have the opportunity to appoint some more judges to the SCOTUS.

And the response from the WH:

Subject: Statement from the President Regarding Supreme Court Ruling

poolreports

THE WHITE HOUSE

Office of the Press Secretary

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 26, 2018

*Statement from the President Regarding Supreme Court Ruling*

Todays Supreme Court ruling is a tremendous victory for the American People and the Constitution. The Supreme Court has upheld the clear authority of the President to defend the national security of the United States. In this era of worldwide terrorism and extremist movements bent on harming innocent civilians, we must properly vet those coming into our country. This ruling is also a moment of profound vindication following months of hysterical commentary from the media and Democratic politicians who refuse to do what it takes to secure our border and our country. As long as I am President, I will defend the sovereignty, safety, and security of the American People, and fight for an immigration system that serves the national interests of the United States and its citizens. Our country will always be safe, secure, and protected on my watch.

They let how many in?

It ain't a wall that gonna stop anything. It's the loopholes in the law they need to go away.

Liberal's hair is on fire this afternoon after this ruling! laugh

Quote
'A marker of shame': Democratic lawmakers rip Supreme Court's travel ban decision

Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday tore into the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold President Trump’s controversial travel ban targeting several Muslim-majority countries.

Among them: Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the first Muslim ever elected to Congress.

“Today’s decision undermines the core value of religious tolerance on which America was founded,” Ellison said in a statement shortly after the ruling came down. “I am deeply disappointed that this ruling gives legitimacy to discrimination and Islamophobia.”

In the 5-4 decision, the court’s five more conservative justices voted to reject a constitutional challenge to the third version of the ban, which Trump issued in September. During his 2016 presidential bid, Trump called for a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims” entering the United States. That proposal subsequently evolved into a vague promise of “extreme vetting.”

Earlier versions of ban restricted immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries. The latest iteration revised the list to include North Korea and Venezuela.

“America holds a unique place in the world as a nation of immigrants,” Ellison continued. “Unlike some other countries, we welcome refugees, asylum seekers, and dreamers fleeing war and instability in other parts of the world. America is and must remain the ‘land of the free’ where the family escaping authoritarianism in persecution in North Korea can seek shelter and thrive.”

The SC ruling on "standing" on an issue they have no standing on.

What a [bleep] joke.

A bigger [bleep] joke is the dissenters. They think they are above the Constitution, and the Executive.

I harbor NO faith in the Judicial branch whatsoever. Its the weakest branch Constitutionally, but everyone, even on our side, thinks our direct representation takes a back seat to their "opinions".

It absolutely does not.....and its not just my opinion.

You do realize the SC rarely ruled on anything prior to 1900 and when they did, it was a joke then as it is now. I give you Dred Scott, for all the states rights wonks. Let's not forget the Plessy v. Ferguson/Brown V. Board debacle. They have no clue what is or isn't "Constitutional", only to rule in derelict to how laws are made.

The President has every power granted by the Constitution to do what he did, or wants to regarding people who have no rights, Constitutionally, to be here. The only branch that can have recourse on the matter is the Legislative branch, who, like many, are all too eager to be absentia and give powers that do not exist to the SC.

No surprise. Minnefuckingsota…...
