drano, Your in for a treat. Holler at me and we'll go there. It's just a few minutes off Interstate-30 at Bryant. Eight different ranges with covered sheds to shoot from. Benches, steel plates, plywood, shotgun and pistol ranges. Top notch private gated club for $100 a year that never closes.

1916? Enfield MK III Sporterized 303 British Stonecutter, Nice...where do you find that .303? It belonged to my grandfather, then my father had it and only shot it a few times. After my father left us, I grabbed all of the guns, my brothers aren't interested in shooting or hunting. It was always in the rack when I was a kid, but I never shot it until about a month ago. When I got it about 2 years ago, I took it apart and cleaned it and put it in the safe until recently. I might have to try it out this fall and kill a deer with it.

serial numbers 20 and 21...
And I thought I worked hard at shopping for rifles . . . . you must be obsessed! Beautiful Pair! Probably even more rare are the Riihimaki triplets in 218 Bee, 22 hornet and 222 Remington, all with kuharski bases and B&L Balvar 2.5-8 scopes... Kirk, I note that the rig in the back of the photo has the very early barrel contour. What a find! Quite an accomplishment to find those mounts and scopes too. Real beauties! Don't forget to bring those by sometime--would really like to see them...
all learning is like a funnel: however, contrary to popular thought, one begins with the the narrow end. the more you progress, the more it expands into greater discovery--and the less of an audience you will have...

Hot diggity, a mountain rifle! A Billinghurst maybe? Fellow named David Hall Hilliard did that one up in Cornish, NH sometime around 1870. It still shoots well. .50 caliber
I am..........disturbed.
