Jim and I did another run to Mekoryuk and this time he was the permit holder. We had to look long and hard for a decent bull, but the weather was in our favor and things went smoothly... I'm from Virginia. Which one is the musk ox? Jim

I'd guess he weighed around 600lbs, though it's a tough guess. Once the hide is off, they look a lot smaller than when they're running around with all that hair.
Jim is doing a head mount, couldn't talk him into life-size. They are good eating, but chewy.
