Designed, Routed and wood burned signs,
Made stained glass windows from easy craft materials,
Made home made bear bells to clip on pants out of scrap leather, and sleigh bellsw

....so ya, in past ive dabbled in the creative arts. Basically whatever i could dream up,

Alwayswanted to work leather though, just as jimmer is doing. Punches can be expensive. Ive admired Kaywoodies possibles bags he creates from scratch as well.

Als not brave enugh to go after sharpening my own knives. Diff grinds and bevels, dont want them ruuunt.

Nice job shading the flower. The saddle maker I learned from, had me take a scrap and just do the carvings. He showed me how to tip the swivel knife and turn it with my finger and thumb. The start ,with the little curve makes the cut look best. Like anything takes time and some good pointers help.

I used to like putting scales on those old carbon steel Green River blanks and use em for gifts or barter but my old hands quit working somewhere along the way.

I made sheaths for em too but no fancy stamping like you're doing. They were serviceable though.

Jim nice work. When I was a kid Tandy the company that owned Radio Shack used to sell leather working tools and supplies. I had a wallet for many years i made and we worked on a few belts and key fobs. Good hobby for those miserable winter days.

Made this as birthday gift. Moose , dall sheep and black bear.
