My smith called me and said the 30mm medium rings won’t fit on my Dakota 76. I bought the rifle used with Talley bases and 30mm Talley non QD high rings. Any thoughts???

They fit fine on my rifle. Call Talley, they are easy to work with and will set you straight.

Talley bases for Dakota are to narrow for their regular rings. Talley makes a specific ring for Dakotas that you can get from them or Dakota.

my smith is going to order the newer Talley base and all should be good
