OP Brian Campfire Member B Joined: Apr 2001 Posts: 313 wisconsin usa	My smith called me and said the 30mm medium rings won’t fit on my Dakota 76. I bought the rifle used with Talley bases and 30mm Talley non QD high rings. Any thoughts???

hidalgo Campfire Member H Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 107	Talley bases for Dakota are to narrow for their regular rings. Talley makes a specific ring for Dakotas that you can get from them or Dakota.

OP Brian Campfire Member B Joined: Apr 2001 Posts: 313 wisconsin usa	Bingo Hidalgo Called Talley and the bases Dakota sells and the bases you can buy for a Dakota 76 are not the same my smith is going to order the newer Talley base and all should be good +1 for Talley service
