Back to the original post. I remember when he got busted. His main gig was "guiding" "hunters" at night. A buddy would drop them off, where they would head off the road for a few days (trespassing, of course). They would hide by day and rattle at night, using night vision

As far as remote places are concerned...there are all kinds. There are locations where being 50 yards off the road is more dangerous than being 50 miles off others.

There are a lot of places in the lower 48 that one can get 30 miles or more from the nearest road. Hell, in this state I could take you places that you’d easily be at least 50 miles from any road....starting in the North Cascades Wilderness

Once you’ve made the easy walk to the road, which obviously can’t be far, I’ll take you to as many other remote spots >30 miles as you’d like. I believe that if in the unlikely event that you made it out of the North Cascade you’d be a believer...😉

We've got poachers all over the place around here. It's a family tradition passed down from generation to generation. Some do it for many years without ever getting caught. Most Country residents don't worry about it a hell of a lot and many won't even report it. We've got a family up the road here that is known for it.
