I don't care for inlines, it always seemed to me to be an "end run around the rulebook". Defeated the whole purpose of blackpowder hunting. But, the market is the market, as long as state agencies can sell tags, anything goes. We got feeding stations, game cameras, night vision gear, gizmos and geegaws...wonder if anybody is using drones yet?
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

And the compound bow hunters hate crossbows and traditional bow hunters hate compounds and so on and so on. What difference does it make as long as it’s keeping folks interested in the hunting?
As far as the forum goes.....this section is called muzzleloaders. You still have to load an inline through the muzzle. There are plenty of social media sites that have your same interests. It just takes a couple of key stokes on google to find them. Actually less strokes than your post here. Good luck to you sir!
You ain't about that life.

Just like there's a Mauser & Military but not an Enfield. The inlines are a different breed of cat. Yes, they are lazier. Just like putting a scope on a muzzle loader. If I want info on my Enfields, I go to an appropriate site. I'd never put a scope on my percussion Kentuckys. Basically, it's to each his own.

Shooting an inline is like kissing your sister. I doubt you ever even met my sister.
Quit giving in inch by inch then looking back to lament the mile behind ya and wonder how to preserve those few feet left in front of ya. They'll never stop until they're stopped. That's a fact.

I don't care what others like. if inlines are their cup of tea, fine with me.
My tastes run old-fashioned. But I don't feel my taste in guns is "the true religion" as seems to be the way of many. It's a sad and insecure person that demands all other agree with him (We call those types Democrats and Socialists as a rule) I like what I like and I don't care what anyone else likes---- nor do I care if they don't like what I like.

Inlines just don’t tick my clock but I can see me shooting one sometime. Traditional cap and ball along with flint locks just seem to speak to my heart. I’m a sucker for any old school firearm, steel and nice wood.in the end I would much rather see folks shooting a inline rather than nothing.
Help keep our sport going. take a kid outdoors!

Most of those inline guys aren't buying up my Swiss. I am amazed at some of the accuracy the inline guys are getting with the custom rigs. Not my cup of tea but respect it. Hoping the Hawken gets bloody again in Sept and Oct.
Shoot what you brought, its all good.

I wonder if there is a compromise rifle? Fast twist for long heavy slugs, accurate as hell at long range, but external hammer and cap ignition? Oh wait, there is...the Whitworth. Now were all happy.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Flint is the word here in Pennsylvania. I have an encore also, but prefer the flint myself.

Ain't gonna ever jerk the trigger on an inline, but do have a couple muzzle loaders with scopes.
I am..........disturbed.

crybaby,,, with this antigun president you ought to be glad for every gun owner we have, If it goes bang I will give it a try. I prefer traditional but do have a cva online. Sob is a 1.25 inch shooter at 100. I can't get that with my sides. But I don't get the giggles with it that I do with my sides.

Ha! That underhammer need not apply for our Mountaineer Heritage Season. Sidelocks only. Ignorance abounds in F&G departments everywhere.
Got a spiffy little underhammer pistol on order. Always liked those, all the way back to the H&A days. Anyone’s guess on when it’ll get here from Italy.

Im the opposite. I have an inline and have zero interest in shooting traditional. That being said, I respect the hell out of the guys that shoot traditional, no scope, etc. I will admit I got my inline to extend my deer season. Love shooting and eating deer and this was a way to do it in December.
