My personal grail is .250- .280. You are obviously a genius that knows more than all of the firearms industry, You should start your own company. Call it: Failure to Penetrate Bullets and AMMO. I am still waiting for those "elk recommended" factory loadings of low sectional density. They don't exist pardner. Only loadings that you would shoot at an elk as a stunt to "show us" how small you can go.

I've known some big [bleep] killed with 300gr bullets from a 45/70 of course that is .04 over the 'magical' .200 SD.

I'd also not want to bet against a 30 caliber 130gr TSX launched from a 300 Roy at 3500fps, that is .04 under the 'magical' .200 SD.
