Looks like there is enough interest to make some more of these. How many folks would like a set - please don't say you want them if you're not seriously interested in them. I don't want to have a bunch leftover due to people backing out. Just respond with how many sets you want. $175 per set 30mm These are right at about .050" lower than low Talleys, front ring is extended about 1/4"

I would address the "backing out" issue with a deposit. Good looking rings.

Are they steel or AL? Do they fit a NULA?

I would address the "backing out" issue with a deposit. Good looking rings. I could, but I like to work on them as I have time/feel like working on them. If I take a deposit then I have to deal with guys bitching if I don't get them done right away. $175 Are they steel or AL? Do they fit a NULA? 300 series stainless - Don't have a NULA, so unless it is the same diameter & hole spacing as the Fieldcraft, no.

I want 2 more sets.
I have several sets, and these are THE best ring sets for the Fieldcraft.

Could any of you who already have them post pics of them with scopes mounted? Thanks.

Any chance the base of that front ring could extend back a little further to catch the third screw?

Chris and I spoke one time about the possibility of bases. I don’t know if this would be the correct time to inquire again, but if there was enough interest …
He does amazing work, and these are a huge value for what he charges.

Thanks for the picture, especially since it is the same scopes as I have on mine. It looks like the mounts end up in about the same place as the rings on my rails. Here's a thread in which JCMCUBIC posts some other mounts for comparison of heights: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbt...ount-for-barrett-fieldcraft#Post13468972If I did the math right, these custom mounts would be about 0.23" lower than a rail and low rings. Chris- when do you need to finalize your order list?

Any chance the base of that front ring could extend back a little further to catch the third screw? It could be done, but it's gonna cost more $$, longer material, end mills, run time. Just TIG them to the receiver & you don't have to worry about it

Chris- when do you need to finalize your order list? Probably end of next week I'll total up how sets & get some quotes for material. I'll likely make a few extras - always seems to be some stragglers that come looking after I get them finished.
