I have my own opinions, but would like to hear yours.

There are players that are great individual athletes, and then there are those that are individually great but also make the players around them better and make the team better. MJ made his team better. I wouldn’t say the same about Lebron or Kobe.

You know, Rodman.

If I'm putting together a team, he might just be on it.

Agree about Rodman, going to be hard pressed to out rebound that guy. Totally dominant on the boards.

Rodman's hair always loked like a suicide mix snow cone.

I think SheBron made his teams better. Say what you want, but he dished it out more than Jordan.

Whether they wanted to be made better was another story.

Jordan didn't win anything without one particular coach.

She Bron was the coach, wherever he went.

All scorers and shooters? Well, kind of with Magic and LeBron in there.

Google most 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 point games.
Then Google most rebounds.

Some of those records are in the same games.

When he played. Doubt he has the speed anymore. But in his time none better. But I rooted for Bird....

He scored points in his era.

A lot of that was because he was the only offense his team had.

Was Jordan the fastest to get to 30,000 points?

I don't think I've seen Rick Barry mentioned.

He was like Bird and Maravich combined.
Killer free throw shooter.

Jordan is to basketball what Ruth was to baseball. No one represents their sport better.

Chicago Bulls weren’t even heard of before Jordan. Others may outscore him, but no one changed basketball like Mike.

Ruth still owns the home run title, regardless of numbers. Aaron took 4,000 turns at the plate to beat Ruth.

Others in their respective sports that changed the game like no other:

Gretzke and hockey
Woods and golf
Secretariat and horse racing

There are others, but few had the impact of the truly great figures…

I am disappointed in you.

Jordan never scored 70 points once, let alone multiple times, had over 20 rebounds, let alone over 50, blocked over 10 shots, let alone over 25 shots, led the league in assists, ever. These stats happened repeatedly.

The only thing Jordan ever changed is how referees called fouls on him. That came after Magic and Bird aged and Jordan got a coach and a team.

You couldn't dunk free throws.
3 seconds in the lane.
The widening of the lane.
Wasn't Babe Ruth Jordan.

Jordan did create prototype players, but Jordan wasn't really any different than Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor or Jerry West in their eras.
