Wow! averages including 3 marriages at a 58% failure rate. Higher than I thought.
Met a gut once that was about to enter his 12th marriage, not just that, but to women of 12 different nationalities. Ask him which was his fave. He answered with...the next one.
Oh well, fun can be had with it all I guess. That is not correct math. You need to do a weighted average...meaning there are more first marriages than second or third, and more second marriages than third. Without knowing the ratios, you cannot calculate the weighted average. The 10 year failure rate for 1st marriages is right at 40%. For each marriage after that, add 20%, so 60% for second 80% for third. The longest study we have for first time marriages spanned 40 years, and had a 65% failure rate.
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

Men like him shouldn't get married. Ever. He's a total loser and with his attitude, it's no wonder that he'd soon be divorced. At least that's what I got from the 1st 90 sec because that's all I could stomach. I made it to 5 min before I almost puked on the computer. Marriage like anything in life takes work and commitment. Without both, just as any endeavor, it is bound to failure. Fewer and fewer (men or women) every year willing to invest either. Not willing to do the work or psychologically capable of making the commitment, do yourself and the women of the world a favor. Stay single.

In 1978 I asked a girl (we’ll call her Jane) to the 8th grade dance. Jane lived about 3 blocks from me, in a a stately house on the nice end of town. Both of us were being raised in nice homes in solidly middle-class families. I knew little about Jane’s family, except that her father was a dentist.
A few days before the dance Jane told me that I would need to pick her up at her fathers house and not the house where I knew her to live. Apparently her parents were separated or divorced. She gave me an address on a piece of paper. I did not recognize the street name, but not wanting to look dumb I simply said “okay”. That evening I showed the address to my mother and asked her if she knew where it was and she assured me that she did.
The big day came and my mother drove me to pick up Jane and go to the dance. Mom turned the car down a sad, dark dead-end street with a row of old single wide mobile homes on one side. We pulled into the driveway of a mobile home. Holy [bleep] that made an impression on me at the age of 13! The contrast between the home that Jane’s father had provided for his family, the stately home that I had ridden my bicycle past hundreds of times and the crappy old trailer he was living in was staggering.
That was 45 years ago and I never forgot it.
Never got married either.
