I like my Browning Hi Powers also. They don't have a switch for a trigger either. The lights in my house have switches. If the Browning Hi Powers I've used are any guide, trigger pull is not exactly their strong point. Good pistols otherwise though they are. The Glock trigger can be improved with a different connector too. That is what I did with mine, and it made a worthwhile difference. Of course it is not the same as a single-action trigger like my 1911A1, but very usable.

It would just be a rehash of the reams of material I've read on the man and his guns over many years. LOL

Talk about fitting a mans hand, hard to beat a BHP. They are pretty too.

I like my P365 well enough to have three of them. All wear safety`s.My favorite carry is an old Model 39.i also have P 38`s PPK`s and Mo 92`s and 1911`s.See a pattern here? No ugly Glocks .

I have read several of these type books and always enjoyed them. After reading all the comments here, I'll probably read this one too.
I have owned several Glocks and they always performed well. I could shoot them well too, once I got rid of the finger grooves, thinned up the rear of the finger guard and stippled the front of the grip frame. In my opinion, Glocks are not made for someone with large hands.
I grew up with a 1911 and have gotten comfortable with pistols that have a safety. I have never gotten used to carrying a pistol with no safety. I put a safety on a 10mm Glock that I had. It surprised me how easy it was to install. In a fit of madness I sold it. That was a great shooting pistol I should have kept.
I sold the last Glock I had yesterday, a Glock 19, and have now been Glock free for 23 hours. I think I'm going to make it...

Hmm, why would anyone want to spend $500 on a reliable handgun when you could spend $1000 on one with half the capacity that may or may not function without a trip to a competent gunsmith and 500 rounds before it's broken in? Sig P229 9mm: 15 round magazine Glock19 9mm: 15 round magazine Sig P226 9mm: 15 round magazine Glock17 9mm: 17 round capacity Glocks are guns you sell for something better ..... Sig Sauer P-Series are guns you pass down to those worthy of your possessions. I agree %100, own 4 SIG's and love em....great triggers, dependable. No tupperware for me. My sister has a Sig, I don’t know the model number. It is BY FAR THE WORST TRIGGER I HAVE EVER SEEN on anything ever PERIOD. It was the first Sig I ever shot. The first time I shot it I thought something was wrong. I pulled the trigger and I pulled the trigger and I kept pulling and finally it went bang. If they are all like that you couldn’t run fast enough to give me one.

I’m old enough to remember reading about the new Glock pistol in Popular Mechanics magazine in the early 80’s when it first came out out. Feared as the plastic pistol that was undetectable by airport X-Ray machines. Middle son is in law enforcement and has gone thru many generations of various Glocks. Presently carries the 43 in his job as Director of MDOT Interstate Commerce Law Enforcement (primarily an office job). I have a Glock 22 in .40 with 3 mags. This Christmas I received a flyer from CDNN and treated myself to a convertible fluted SS barrel in 9mm with extra, high capacity magazines. I like idea of having a 2 caliber pistol, especially in this economy with shortages of ammo. Son shoots one very well and helps his crew with passing qualifying sessions.

Ordered the book from Abe Books a week ago with free shipping. Estimated delivery is still two weeks out.
Apparently it’s policy to ship via the scenic route.

I was shooting with a Glock rep a couple weeks ago and asked about this book.
He said the "old timers" at the company say that it has some embellishment but is mostly factual. There is of course some dispute on some subjects in the book but he said by and large it is viewed as a good representation of the Glock story and he said he keeps a copy on his desk at the office.
If you haven't read it, the info concerning Massad Ayboob is fugking hilarious. That guy is a complete POFS.

Not so sure about Massad Ayboob, I give him no credit. I can't see how he is someone's expert.
