Coyote10 Campfire Regular C Joined: Dec 2022 Posts: 2,324	That rifle with bust your azz. Better buckle in and lock those rings down tight. Might move the scope forward a tad lol. If you want light weight power, grab a tikka in 06. It'll do everything that win mag will in a light gun. My opinion.

However, there's no way in hell I'd shoot one that light. The 4 Ruger #1s are sufficiently heavy that recoil isn't too bad and the Winchester M70 actually feels like it kicks a bit less. I'd pass on that Montana. Winchester stock designs are fhuqking horrid and the recoil a bunch,despite the overly heavy contours and increased mass. Hint……….. Despite that, it weighs more than any of my 700’s in 375 and 375 H&H AI,which shoot much softer.Hint. Winchester has long botched 375’s. Hint…………..
