IIRC - you can get McDonald's coffee from Amazon to make at home too.
We buy McCafe coffee when it goes on sale at the Dollar General. It is passable. Way better than Folgers or Maxwell House.

I suppose this is an optimistic way of asking: "Is there a cheap coffee out there that isn't horrible?"

My BIL, whose approach to coffee is similar, is partial to Community Roast whole bean, which he grinds and makes in an expensive Italian espresso machine.

I've had it. It isn't horrible.

About once a month McDonald’s coffee medium roast is on sale at Dollar General $6.95. I don’t know how old it is but it drinks very well. Typically about $12. Snobby it’s not but it is a good bit more expensive than some.

Maxwell house doesn't seem to ever be rated highest in it's price range but I pay extra for 100% Columbian in this brand & pleased.

I don't really know what compares, but just about anytime someone has a cup at my house comments positively on it without being ask.

On the wknd as College Game Day is about to kickoff my wife puts on our coffeemaker and I put on the stovetop percolator. Stovetop is about a twenty two minute process and I have her coffee to sip on while mine is making. Cowboy coffee at about 212*. Not quite but one needs to be careful.

That’s when we stock up! It isn’t my favorite, but is palatable.

I like Community coffee pretty good, but feel it is expensive for what it is.

I have ordered some from the Dominican Republic. I don’t remember the company off hand. It was really good, but expensive in my estimation.

Dark Roast - is very low acid, which allows one to drink it black without it digesting you.

This is the best, ground and vacuum packed in foil.

McCafe was good when it first hit the shelves.
Then Green Mountain started making it for them and it went to crap.

Buddy of mine buys South American beans in bulk and roasts at his house.
That’s what we normally drink.
Medium dark.

I’m willing to try it, but any dark roast I’ve drank just tasted burnt to me.

Most of my brass, and bull reloads, are on a shelf under my work bench in plastic Folgers cans. I finally got enough cans saved up so I no longer have to drink that swill.

We get freedom hill coffee delivered twice a month. Small company out of traverse city, MI. Not the cheapest but compared to folgers, etc ( in our area) it's competitive.

Beans or ground. Everything from foofoo coffee to extra dark.

Alot better than black rifle IMO
