I suspect he will beat Cameron. The Repub primary was weird here. Way too many viable candidates ran and they split the vote up. Cameron somehow came out of the primary but he's always struck me as being a pretty weak candidate.
Could be wrong though. We will see.

How do you feel about the alternative, Bristoe?
I thought anybody could beat Andy, but it appears the Repubs were up to the task of selecting the one guy who can’t.

Could be wrong though. We will see. That is exactly how I see it. Of all the candidates running in the GOP primary, Cameron was my least favorite, but I'll vote for him in about an hour.

Although I would have preferred that Ryan Quarles was the GOP candidate. He's a farm boy with a super achiever mind. Kentucky missed a good chance when they didn't make him the candidate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Quarles

And i suspect would have beat Beshear like a drum.

How do you feel about the alternative, Bristoe? He seems to be on the right side of the issues. I'm in the "anybody but Beshear", camp. Beshear sent the State Police out to take down the license plates of the cars that attended church during Covid. That was *way* over the top. I'm quite sure the State Police didn't appreciate being used to intimidate date church goers.

Never underestimate the ability of the KY state Republican party to shoot themselves in the foot. Kentucky Republicans have nothing on the ability to Screw Up decisions, when compared to Oregon Republicans. Besides our democRATS ability to cheat out their asses, I think our Republican ' candidates' are actually democRATS, controlling each side of the aisle. We have "democRATs in REpublican sheep's clothing" just so it gives the illusion of actually having a two party system..... Same in California and Washington State. The Left Coast seems to have gone all Communist several decades ago.

Actually, the GOP legislature in Kentucky is fairly good. They kept Beshear from messing things up as much as he wanted to.

Yeah. Why wouldn't I? This is my State,...my Nation. You have stated a few times in the past that weren't or didn't. Your prior posts[in this thread don't wreak of enthusiasm]

Yeah. Why wouldn't I? This is my State,...my Nation. You have stated a few times in the past that weren't or didn't. Your prior posts[in this thread don't wreak of enthusiasm] I don't recall saying that I didn't vote in state or local elections. In Presidential elections in the past I said I wouldn't bother voting for McCain or Romney. I still wouldn't. I won't vote for Nicky Haley either. There's a lot of Republicans at the Federal level that I wouldn't bother voting for if they got the GOP nomination for President. As for Governor of Kentucky, I like some potential candidates better than others. But offhand, I can't think of any that I wouldn't vote for.
