So sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine how difficult that was to endure. Dogs are the best people I know and I’m thankful for every minute of every day I get to spend with my dogs. Their lives are too damn short even when they leave a long full life.

I couldn't imagine listening to her cries and not being able to do anything. That is terrible. Sorry for your loss. a hunting dog owner could have hiked in from the bottom to save the dog I lost my dog because I did not prepare and want to die because I lost a family member. 5 minutes suffering the loss of a close family member: oh I found a new family member on the inter webs but can't afford to buy the new family member You Sir are a 1st class dikwad idiot, you certainly don't know the exact details nor the situation that faced him. I'm quite sure if there was something he could have done to ease the dogs pain, he would have gladly done so....no matter how uncomfortable or inconvenient it would have been.
