Ordered various stuff from them for years…now? I CANNOT GIVE THEM MY $. Why? They won’t take it. Their online payment system is assed up, declining every payment type imaginable, from multiple accounts. The bigger problem? There is ZERO way I can get ANY customer service from PSA, without first having an order number. Can’t even get assistance from their retail locations. Can’t chat, can’t email, can’t even call and get a human, using their CS contacts. I’ve been trying to order some sale ammo for 3 days. I think I’m done with them.

Rant over.

They have a wonky system that often tags folks for ‘fraud’ anytime they get a new CCD or payment method entered and such. I’ve seen it before. You used to just contact them, and they’d update the system. They’ve just changed their CS options to require an order # to use…..so you’re in a catch 22…..can’t get an order #, and can’t get CS without it.

Really strange. The've been having massive sales and I took advantage on three firearms. Easy Peasy. Order, pay, and they arrive within three to four days to my FFL.

Might want to call them and see what's happening.

PSA has been good to me for the most part. When I needed CS, not so much. If anyone knows the magic formula for getting a human on the phone, please share.

See, that’s the thing: they’ve rigged customer service so you can’t contact anyone…..unless they just took your $……which is the point. Lol

Actually, it’s THEIR issue. It does it to plenty of folks, on occasion. You USED to be able to get CS to correct it all fairly easily. Now, there’s NO CS. Again: it’s something that their ‘secure payment’ does for some nebulous rationale sometimes: you updated your CCD, added a new CCD, or you changed nothing and it just doesn’t like you anymore, etc.

No idea specifically about PSA.

My wife runs a C-store that had some computer indigestion last week.

The system wouldn't allow any plastic payment.
The systems were up, (they aren't always, they go down more than you would think)
they just wouldn't process.

It took almost all day to work it out.

The next day, a sister store had the same issue.

Very possible PSA would experience something similar.
And that if such were the case, they would be jammed up on the phones, or
not answering them because doing so is fruitless if you can't do anything.
(But if they can't do anything g they should put a msg in the system saying that)

Bear creek has been good for years now. PSA was always good.

I find it extremely hard to believe you can't get someone on the phone to sort it out. But Iv'e seen worse I suppose.

LOL

One more time:
you can’t talk to a human on that line, unless you already have an order #.

I do appreciate your effort, though.

IF you're placing your order on line and entering your CC number, what message are you receiving?

If it is "Card Declined", then simply call your CC company as the problem is on their side and not on the PSA side.

I had them double charge for for a bunch of ammo years ago and had the same problem reaching anybody.

I called a retail location and twisted off, then promised to do that 3x a day until they helped. The retail store manager got it fixed in one day.

Bullshit

READ the thread.

I just ordered the stuff from somewhere else, using the same CCD, AND other CCDs I tried work fine.

What's "twisted off"?

It is very frustrating. I just had an issue where my ffl wasn't showing up on their list of ffl options. I called the number and they wouldn't connect me because I didn't have an order number. Since I didn't have an order number I looked back in an email and found an order number from a few months ago and used that. The bait and switch worked. I was connected with a real human in about 3 or 4 mins and explained my problem had nothing to do with the order number I gave them and that I just needed help getting my ffl registered. We got it squared away.
