Over the last about 20 years I've been on here you've probably influenced people's list more than anyone. You pointed me to the montana 7wsm waters years ago so when I found one maybe 12 years back I knew to drink it up. It's still a favorite.

I've also put a lot of rounds through my faux ti 223ai you pointed me towards in maybe 2006 or so. I haven't shot out the little 21" 3 groove 8 twist pacnor yet. I wish the guy in Ohio who chambered it for about $85 was still doing the work. He was it&d or id&t or something but did good quick work at a great price.

I need to try another pacnor. Haven't used bought one since before the fire. I wonder have the 8400 wsm duplicate programmed into their new cnc lathe. I have a 270 wsm that needs fixed with a slightly bigger bored 8 twist.

I've got one or two of everything I want and plenty of money to buy more. But I'm smarter now and really want more time to hunt and shoot, not more crap piled in the corner.

I really like that one, except for not having the scope mounts

I just bought a 7-08. It's a Ruger American compact. Got it from the local Sportsmans Warehouse. I don't really have a need for it but thought it had that "cool" factor going for it. I made some brass for it from .308 brass a couple of years ago. Long before I bought the gun. I have some bullets but I need a scope and it will be shootable.

I'm a right-hander who shoots left-handed. I also have a nostalgic fondness for some of the classic calibers many of which were never made commercially in left-handed rifles. So I often have to wait for the rare rebarreled 70, 77 or 700 that comes in a caliber I'm interested in to pop up on an auction site. It's easy to find left-handed 6.5CM, 30-06, 7mm RM or 300 WM. It's close to impossible to find a 257 Roberts, a 300 H&H Magnum or a 35 Whelen. If I really want one, it'll probably be up to me to have one made.

Some other rare rifles are left-handed centerfire Kimbers. A left-handed Sako or Steyr with a stutzen/mannlicher stock is pretty uncommon. It's hard to find a nice Winchester 1895 in .303 British at an affordable price (one sold at RIA this past weekend for $4,700). If I do find one, it's usually in Canada. I saw a LH Husqvarna in 25-06 once that I regret not buying since I've never seen another one like it. I've only seen one of the Browning BLR's in 25-06 that were made in a special run of 150 for Kones Korner. I let a Ruger #1 in .404 Jeffery slip through my fingers which would have been fun to own. Finding a nice upland SxS shotgun in 28 or 20 gauge that I really like with a neutral cast or cast on for a LH shooter can be a challenge.

The problem is there's simply not enough money & space to buy them all so it has gotten a lot easier to pass on new purchases since I fortunately have everything I need.

A Holland and Holland double rifle at a garage sale for $500. That unicorn has been quite elusive for me so far

I really don’t have a unicorn, myself. I just am always on the lookout for something interesting. Right now I want a super light rifle to keep at mom’s house for when I go back home elk hunting.

ULA, Fieldcraft, Remington Ti, etc. I see them in the classifieds but they’re either too much $, or they have a twist that I am not mildly interested in.

I have wanted a M700 Ti for quite some time and ran into one (270 Win) fairly priced a bit ago at Bass Pro of all places. The only used firearm in the store.

Need a Tradewinds Trigger, made by Timney, for a Husqvarna 1640 (JC Higgins 51-L).

Think if I had bought one, it would have saved me a chit load of money in my attempt to chase the perfect rifle over the last 30 years.

I stop in my gun shops in my travels and have never run accross one.

Been looking for an ‘06 stainless ks for quite some time.

I'm still hanging on to both my KS, 280 and 30-06, both unfired but blued. I will probably turn them loose in the not too distant future but not right now.

I could kick myself square in the butt for passing on the Whitakers deals when they had them. So dumb...

Live and learn I guess. I'll find one eventually.

I walked into an art store yesterday and came across a rack of old rifles in the back of the store. Mostly they were Winchesters. They had 2 64's, one a rifle in 30/30 and one a carbine in 32 Special. They had a couple of 348's and some others I didn't look at. They had a Winchester pre 64 in 243 Win and a Ruger #1 international in 7mm. They had several old shotguns at least one was a Parker DHE 12 ga.

It looked like they had bought an estate. Must have been 20 to 25 firearms. Normally I would have gone over everything in detail, but just couldn't seem to get interested. I went to the Dr today....Said I was ok, but I'm not sure.

Guess I'm getting boring as I get older. As of now there's nothing really on my list. Not that there's not plenty of rifles that I think are really neat that I don't have, just that it doesn't mean much to me at this point. I should get rid of some that I have, but I know I got enough I don't need to add more.

Just looking forward to enjoying what I like to shoot, even more.
