I do not have any pictures of groups. The groups with stingers were much better than they were out of the standard 10/22 carbine barrel it replaced.
The 10/22 it went in was a rifle I purchased used when Obama was in office. No idea when it was manufactured. At the time I wanted a 10/22 but anything with detachable mags was nowhere to be found or overpriced.
I used the rifle in its stock state for a few years and then decided to replace everything but the action. New barrel (this one), new scope (cheap Simmons to a vortex I just sold), Titan 10/22 stock, and a BX trigger.
How much of that improvement was the barrel and how much was it everything else? I can’t honestly say. Anyone who buys this probably has other stuff swapped out too. It might not shoot the same for you as it did for me.
I wasn’t displeased with the barrel I just decided to take that rifle another direction with a Ruger target barrel. I found myself shooting this less because I was trying to conserve stingers. I like shooting my bolt action 22’s but I missed shooting this too.
I don’t think anyone will be disappointed in the barrel. It’s just at this point it’s been off the rifle for like a year. I was holding onto it in case I stumbled onto something else but I’m letting it go. I don’t have any old targets from when it was on and don’t want to make any group size measurement claims based off of memory.
The barrel is in excellent shape. Less than 200 rounds through it, probably less than 100. Honestly it’s probably not even totally broken in yet.
