I see several uses of Scripture here being used to justify hate. When Paul condemned those who falsely claimed to be Jews, he was speaking of those who are not what they claim to be---which would aptly describe someone who uses Scripture to justify hate. The early Christians referred to themselves as Jews, and that status was attained through spiritual rebirth. Understanding Scripture can be tricky. Using it for your personal agenda---you play with fire.
