I switch things around a good bit, but my favorite is an Uncle Henry 897. I never met a pocket knife I didn’t like.

I've carried a Kershaw Blur exclusively for the last 18 or so years. For me they are the perfect carry companion. Like them so much I have a back up for my backup. Prefer the older model handles that have the stippled aluminum texturing on the handle over the new rubber insert models.

I got you beat. This has been my EDC knife since the early 1980s. Hardly a day goes by when I don't use it for something. When it gets dull, it sharpens razor sharp again with ease. Gerber lockblade: It's not a tiny knife (2.5" blade). It just looks tiny next to that giant moth. My aunt and uncle bought me one of these while we were on vacation in Charleston in 1981. Outstanding picket knife. It gets put in the wash a good bit due to being so lightweight that I forget it’s in my pocket.

I've got two RAT 1's and a Rat 2. All in D2. They aren't going anywhere. After seeing many mixed reviews on the D2 Ontario Rats, I bought mine in Aus 8. The reviewers I watched said the Aus 8 did just as good as their D2 and it is definitely more rust resistant to D2. How well has your Rat D2 been holding an edge and has it been easy to keep from rusting? I almost bought the D2 version.

It's larvae are those hotdog size worms that strip tomato vines overnight. Use the knife on the beast before it lays any more eggs. I also have on of those small Gerbers that I carry on occasion.

I have a bunch, but my benchmade freek is easily my favorite. The edge I can get on it allows me to shave my face in a single pass.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

Cold steel recon 1 for a few years now. That's quite an EDC knife. How do you carry it? It's not too big. I just use the provided pocket clip. Oh, I was confusing it with one of their fixed blade models. Didn't know it was a folder.

I also have on of those small Gerbers that I carry on occasion. Yeah, that's what I figured it was. I hate those huge green worms. There are worse worms on your tomatoes, though, since the tomato worms are pretty easy to spot, and tend to leave the actual tomatoes alone. Just a matter of checking a couple times a day till their season is over.

Kershaw Leek - does good work while also being inexpensive enough where you don't mind using it like a tool.
