Just saw where he passed. His articles were the main reason for any interest in Sporting Classics magazine.....

I really enjoyed his contributions to Sporting Classics. I grew up not many miles from his stomping grounds and was familiar with some of the locations he talked about. With some of his tales, it was like I was there since our experiences were so similar. He will be missed.
