Anyone have any recent experiences dealing with getting homeowners insurance with reloading supplies in the home? After googling it i see answers ranging from no way,to a 7lb limit on powder, to not a problem.

I have switched home owners insurance numerous times and that has never happened one time. We just switched again. Only thing they looked at was the outside. Never inside! Find new insurance company

They do a walk around the outside and check the roof every couple years, my man told me last week they never come into the house unless there is a claim filed.

I have been asked about firearms and jewelry wanted to sell me an additional policy

You bet cha. It will depend on the company and state. My agent toured the home and had no concerns as I was under the State Fire Marshal’s recommendation.

I get driving by to check the roof, trees, power lines, fire hydrants, swimming pools etc. You're not getting inside. Over my dead body.

Until you have a major claim: fire, tornado. Then the contract, fine print, will take over.

WTF is that supposed to mean? I haven't told anyone schit. If they plan on touring the home, then they're going to see it. I'm simply asking people who have dealt with it somewhat recently how it was handled.
