Sam,
Momentary delay - what a crapola -
I was changing out the low Opti-Locks with the X-Low's, took off the old rings and was getting ready to put on the new ones and found out one of the new rings has a ring screw hole stipped out (SHOOT).
But it gets better, as I was putting the old rings back on I spun the allen key in one of the ring screw heads - damn soft screws!
I decided to take a break before I broke anything else.

McMillan has my 85 Finnlight as we speak. They're dropping it in a Sako Classic in the Edge technology with full install that includes the pillar bedding. I'm excited about getting it back!! I hope mine looks as good as yours.

very very nice, can you specify the LOP on these stocks? A Sako finlight in one would be very nice, the regular finnlight stock has too long LOP for me.

Mine is 13.5". It is a mid 80's Fiberclass that has been electroless nickled. I am looking forward to pics of OCC's when it comes back. Hard to not love a Sako.

could be a less expensive way to an accurate semicustom gun, a stock upgrade on an 85 finnlight is interesting, the actions are pretty good, everyone says they are accurate, but I did not like the factory stock in construction or LOP.

Those are out of the bin bases that a hunting pard contoured for me. They are actually electroless nickle in a satin. They look better than Conetrols stainless bases and rings.
