What rifle would you walk out the door with? Post a pic:
R700, .270win LSS stock Cerakote by CAS Still deciding if I should top it with a VX-3 4-14 LR model, or if that 30mm tube will look too big on the Mountain rifle.
What about the rest of you fellas? Looking forward to seeing your go-to guns...
This one would get the nod if season opened today as its the only rifle I have zeroed and ready. The others are in various stages of scope swaps or other work. 700ADL, painted factory synthetic stock, 6x36 Leupy.

Ranger Arms 25-06 circa 1968 or so (yes it was built with that thumbhole stock) Off the bench, elbows not a rest or bags at 100 yards, a dime covers the group. Sightron 3-12 x 42 duplex (it came with a '60's Weaver TV set) "Baby Bowie" by Ray Laconico in California ( a nice guy who makes great knives)
Deer hunting? This one for 90% of my blacktail hunting:
Model 7 LSS Pac-Nor .358 Win 2.5x8 Leupold with B&C reticle (yes, with a .358!) Alumina covers 200-gn Hornady at 2625 fps... or 225 Sierra at 2475 fps. Trigger set to 3 lbs, my heaviest trigger but I kill them up close and it gets pretty steamy...
Elk, bear, mule deer, or some blacktail spots:
Kimber montana .325 WSM 2.5x8 Loopy with B&C reticle 200-gn Accubond at 2925 fps.
Got no picture worth posting, but you've seen 'em <g>.

Kids mainly use this to hunt feral hogs at night (reason for the illuminated "Hubble" scope) but more than likely one of my boys or nephews will use it this season to take their WT.
