That rifle is stellar in any language. Probably the best looking 54 in existence.. GREAT job on a classic rifle if there ever was one. That rifle's good enough to sleep with...

Thanks for the compliments guys; to answer a few questions. 1. The stock finish is likely Tru-oil; I didn't do the finish myself but I did finish the checkering and the area I inlet for the receiver sight and the Tru-Oil I used matched right up with the rest of the finish. 2. I don't know how it shoots yet as it's been sitting in the safe waiting on the stock work all summer, I'll have it down to the range this week. The bore is very clean so I expect it wills shoot well, if it doesn't, then it will be rebored to 35 Whelen

very nice rifle.nicest stock i've seen on a 54. mine has alot of streaking too but not as much as yours & the finish really brings it out
