Yep. Zyedco Cafe. My BIL's place, and he know's how to cook Authentic Cajun and Creole. Tell Kevin BIL Chris A. in Houston to fix you up! Breakfast is best, but lunch is awesome too. If you see 12' shrimp trawl net hanging on the wall, it was mine, looks better there!

My rule of thumb when traveling west, is to eat where all the pickups are during the daytime and stay away from the places that have all the pickups at night. Good luck.

I have eaten in every place in Bozeman. If you want Sushi go to Dave's Sushi. The problem with Bozeman is that it is so expensive that no one can afford to start a resturant and offer good food at reasonable prices.

Was in Montana from the 8th of november till the 19th of november, hunted with the Johnsons out of Jardine. Stayed over in bozeman a day and night each way, coming and going. Bought some pacs at Schnees, a couple of books at Powderhorn outfitters, had some coffe at a local dive and visited another bookstore there on the main street. I ended up eating at Teds coming and going. Don't particularly care for his politics, but his place serves some good buffalo burgers, fries and onion rings. At least good enough that I went there twice. The bartenders were friendly enough, and poured an honest drink. Will definately eat there again on my next trip. I'm thinking abut coming back in september 09. Didn't kill any elk, but made some good friends. I cooked for everybody in camp the last two days as the elk had not migrated down from Yellowstone, and ya' can't pull a bull out of your ass. They liked my cooking enough to invite me back to cook for them when they go to their outback camp on the Hellroaring river. Think I might just take them up on their offer. GWB

I hesitate to give up the "old honey hole", but the best kept secret (until the recent remodel) for affordable food in Bozeman is the Grantree on 7th. Now with the sports bar atmosphere, it will surely go the way of the others. The soups are superb.

DO NOT stop at the Flying J at I-90 and Jackrabbit. Ahh give me a break, Baers has good grub. lol. The Corner Club in 4corners is an ok place to eat. For pizza I would check out Buffalo Bump in 4corners. Cant go wrong with Famous Daves for BBQ. Fiesta Mexicana for Mexican.

Chris, haven't been there in years but will definitely give it another try.
Thanks for the information!
