I like to see this whole thing covered in garlic, a cross placed over it, shot will silver bullets (what ever calibre) and a stake driven through it's heart. Stick a fork in it, its done.

Art,
That was me that said that about JO... i had already apologized for bringing his mom into it as it was a slam at him and not his mother but i do think he's a candidate for retroactive abortion!
I can't spell... Deal with it...

The real question is, if you had a 7mm-08 700 XCR and a .308 700 ADL, which one would make your hand less tired carrying it?...

Paul I remembered it well, and especially your apology... But also his response back then. Since he claimed to be winning it seemed some sort of high ground would be easy to maintain...
This whole thing is beyond a pathetic joke... And someone fails to recognize their place in it. art
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

So, the consensus is that Stick won and we can all tape up our eyes and paint racial epithets on ammo boxes? Just kidding. Don't answer that.
Lots of good stuff here if you're willing to dig. Where does one go to really discuss physics of external ballistics? I mean, doesn't BC cease to be a constant after 500 yds? Isn't it ALL experimental or phenomenological at supersonic speeds as well as at transition to subsonic? Relying on Doppler radar for data to fit?
It's not like the Langevin equation applies here, and Mach gave us nothing but fudge factors. Or correct me if I'm wrong.

We can only make our choices on the available data. The effects of moon phase and the tides are not fully understood at this juncture.

I rely heavily on various galactic moonphases.
Almost like cheating.

Solunar Tables, You'll never go back to galactic moon phases.

you guys are silly ... I just pick up whatever rifle/chambering I feel like, and shoot it ... Of course, Yoda trained me a while, and I simply use the force to guide the bullet to the exact spot I want it to impact, and then use the force yet again to control when, and how much, it expands upon impact with the animal ... soooo much easier than even using turrets and an LRF ...
