Really????
In the 6th edition they only list H414 at 46.6 grains even breaking 2700 in their 24" barreled test rifle?? WTF?
Are we talking about the same Hornady that publishes all their BCs at 3000 FPS?
I'm Irish...
Of course I know how to patch drywall

Shane's load, btw, clocks 2580 fps from a 20.5" tube... And he wasn't afraid to post his load...
You're the only guy I know that wouldn't feel totally stupid ranting for weeks about two loads you've never even shot.....amazing! You ARE giving the best ever demo of how, and better yet WHY experience trumps WAG-ing. Appreciate the visual aid! Keep it up "El Conquistador".

I like to prod the Guess-Fu's to expound upon their rampant nothingness,as a Tutorial for the astute to dwell Real World results. Though it ain't fair, nor purty...it do bear a lotta fruit,as per always.
Noone casts purtier than moi.(grin)

I'm for thinking that he won't post the powder charge because it will invalidate all the noises his guys made about "equal chamber pressures", and that he won't post the OAL because, well, it will invalidate the critique of MontanaMarine's load that it was "too long".
McDonald's coffee was too hot in inept hands, I'd not trust you with it nor my load data knowing how liberals like to sue!

You reckon the BIODF might be a little soremouthed?
Lets see if he spends his last $50 on 162's or Hornady 7th.

I only talked about what was within the data sample from the same source (good or bad) that ColdBore used.
I tried to phrase things so as not to extrapolate beyond the data sample. I made no claims as to what happened after 500 yards and even stated that after 300 yards the difference was negligible which means that it doesn't matter. Your stating that some other load of 7mm-08 equals the .308 at 770 yards only reemphasizes what I said about there being a negligible difference. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I was not trying to pick on your pet load. I don't understand why you are personally attacking me in "hinting" I should refrain from discussion. Personal attacks are Troll behavior. That's my first impression of you. Have a nice day.

Experience cain't be feigned, nor stupidity masked.
The correlation is often unforgiving by Nature.
Pun intended.

An over 50% yardage increase in equal "power" is now negligible, after you went to great lengths to source minutia well shy of such profound differences?
You are a First Class Idiot,as a bare minimum and now uncomfy with your initial Post...which is of course well founded. I personally could care less about you and your feelers, but you went to great lengths to talk out of your azz initially.
Few would laude a "congratulations" as being in order and I'd certainly side in kind there.

She ASSUREDLY ain't looking at a 7-08 with a 162 in the flesh and fixin' to gun same via '15.
Though of course, that'd be her initial undoing...as well as a coup de grace.
Poignant +P.
