Do you mean Sisyphus, the guy with the rock?
Jeff Jeff, that's the guy. Unfortunately there appear to be about twelve different proposed spellings of his name. My concern was whether or not I "pluralized" it properly.

Jeff you gotta end this. It's gone beyond sad.Take a breath and move on..Nuttin to be gained anymore. I have to agree with 7 STW, Jeff. You have nothing to gain by prolonging this argument, IMO. BTW, I certainly don't think you are a 'Noob'-it sounds as if you do lots of shooting at long range, also, how many guys kill two elk in one season? That doesn't sound like a 'Noob' to me. Again, I think you are not helping yourself one bit by keeping this up, Jeff. Just my opinion. Also, I know that you and Stick have some bad blood betwixt you, but I have to say that Stick, the times I have PM'd him, has been very accomadating(sp?) and helpful with my questions. I also think he has much experience that I find interesting and helpful.

He knows that, and that's why he's posting pics of trees and fish
Nah, he just likes to play I think, and good pics are always appreciated anyhow (it's a hunting/shooting/outdoorsy message board, you know)? I remember on the hide some guy had carefully deduced that for Nobody's (Stick's) claims of experience with various combinations of gear to bear weight, he'd have to have more than 50 rifles (gasp), which he clearly assumed was absurd. The guy kept trying to get Nobody to post a pic showing that many rifles, but he wouldn't. Everybody knows Stick has pictures laying around with more rifles layed out in the living room than that, but he never posted such and never let on... Baiting, I'd call it - and it was kindof amusing.
The church is near, but the roads are icy. The pub is far away, but I will walk carefully.

I once asked Stick about Rugers - he oft said he never had one that pizzed him off and had over 30. IIRC Ramhumpers kid has a sweet Ruger done on a Micky blue and white A5 he ordered flat top and inletted. SWEET assed rifle.

I've seen a pic or two of Stick's collection. Looked more like the aftermath of an ATF raid.

Who would want to run either of these cartridges when you can run a 7mm wsm or 300 wsm, in the same package, but more performance?

Those that know Larry realize he has been doing that in a Montucky for some time. Remarking that if Kimber made the Montana earlier, there would be a lot less Remington based stuff in the armory.

There is a difference in weight.
Kimber lists the 84M Montana at 5lb. 2oz. and the 8400 WSM Montana at 6lb. 3 oz.. Fairly significant.

The 7 cal's have always been my favorite. Me or mainly my nephews shoot a 280 AI that is a G Mcmillian build a 280 and 7-08 that Harold Broughton built for me years ago. They are great shooters.

My favorite 7mm-.08 load is 62 grains of R-22 behind a 165 grain Partition in a .30-'06 hull... Now THAT'S putting things in perspective!!! Casey
