Art, what in the world are you talking about? My Model 7? What in heck does THAT have to do with this topic?
Have you ever even handled a Zeiss 1.8-5.5 Conquest? Mounted one on a laminate Model 7? Do you have the same arm, neck, and head geometry that I do? Didn't think so... That scope is mounted exactly in the correct position- for ME.
And will you please show me where I claimed "all sorts of expertise"? Good luck with that.
Art, to give you a b!tch slap right back, your turnaround when you found out that it was actually that weasel-boy Paul Walukewitz who posted that vile stuff about MY mother simply sealed my, and everyone else's, opinion of you as about as hypocritical as it gets. Your credibility on that front is below zero.
Jeff Save every frigging thing about your existence. Today is a perfect example... Look at your boy Obama and his pick for the SCOTUS. Individuals of your intellect are why we have that sort of thing to look forward to. But I digress... Your scope mounting and being so bright you do not even know what you did... And arguing about eye relief! Were it not so pathetic it would be funny. I will state it in simple terms: That scope mounting is unusable by any normal person. To use it requires a ridiculous contortion of anything approaching a normal human form. Your claims take you so far into space it is sad. Everything is about you and your victimhood. You cannot stand the concept of shutting up and actually learning something. Every keystroke shows a more and more pathetic poser. Too bad about the Paul thing... He did indeed apologize to you. It is fairly easy to find. Would probably have taken less effort than actually shooting off your mouth. But the fact you came back with the same thing after all the behind-the-scenes sniveling you did says nothing good about you. Awful hard to hear your "I'm on the high road" twitter from the gutter you swim in. Your opinion of me is of no concern to me, period. art
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

TryMe, how much RL15 is getting you that speed, and what's your load's OAL?
40 gr of R15 gets me to 2660 avg. That's .1 gr over max. I can safely reach 2700 with nary a doubt.

What I find so interesting about all of this, is that JO won't attempt his own work up with the damn bullet. And insists on having a load (thats been all OVER the net, for years) to try in HIS OWN rifle to see if it comes close.
Has anyone, ever, in the history of reloading, ran two rifles side by each using the same load come up with exactly the same numbers?
Hell last week I ran a pair of 223's side by each using the SAME BOX of factory rounds and got two wildly different accuracy results, and two different velocity postings....
Why pack all that messy meat out of the bush when we can just go to the grocery store where meat is made? Hell,if they sold antlers I would save so much money I could afford to go Dolphin fishing. Maybe even a baby seal safari.

Get into JOs mind: If Stick posts the load it would be a "victory" to JO. But that is just not going to happen. Or I should say highly unlikely to happen. He is an easy read. Addition: Would not surprise me if there is not a ----- before this is all over. Don't want to steal anybody's thunder, so you fill in the blanks.
