the discussion of the recent "cracker barrel" event appears to be gaining airtime on the local ATL media. folks are visiting the DA to make sure that all possible charges have been filed.

in other news, the potential "bad-shooting" of a Southern Baptist Preacher in Toccoa remains under wraps. No report after some 3 weeks of on-going investigation. i'm beginning to think something potentially bad is gonna come out of that event.

meanwhile, the media reports, you decide.

How is that white kid doing that was beaten by two black guys on the bus yesterday? Have hate crime charges been filed on that one?

Possibly the guy is tired of seeing the crap like the kid on the bus and lashed out.
Not excusing what happened but black women can often times have a mouth like the grand canyon.

it's a tragedy no doubt. i wish the media would at least attempt to get the other side of the story, also. right now, it's a one-sided story, with much ado.

again, it's a tragedy, but surely everyone will have their day in a fair court? no injuries or bruises were shown on the taped interviews. no witnesses interviewed. just the young woman with her child in the scene.

i dunno. news said she was affiliated with the military. trained and prepared to fight, i would think. the old guy they showed on TV looked a bit tired, from my perspective.

why didn't the Israeli model of self-defense kick-in? well, all we can do is wait until the media has it's say, then the court-case.

That "black chick" said she was a member of the U.S. Army. Not that it should make any difference, but it seems to me that she had a right to go into any public establishment she chose without being hassled, let alone assaulted.

in all honesty, i can't understand why she wasn't on the top of the guy, and beating the living hades out of him? i mean she was younger by far, and at least 20-30 pounds heavier?

a tragedy. what chance do we have against the jihadist types and their supporters, when our own military can't outdo old guys? we've got ourselves a problem, folks. better investigate this folks, the old-guy might have been a paid shill on the side of the opposition???

thankfully, the court case will be decided, hopefully, by twelve jurors.

All that aside I wish they would do away with this hate crime garbage. It amounts to being punished for ones thoughts and feeling and is nothing more than a race bating tool.

yeh, as a young guy, i was commissioned to two years of involutary servitude by Pres. Johnson and his crowd of socialist do-gooders. we got our Arses beat, and sent home from Vietnam. Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi is the capital, right? we lost that dirty little war in SE Asia. and i'm still mad as hell about that rediculous outcome. but, at least Vietnam is a manufacturing state now, and doing well.

How in the world can we ever be the color blind society that all the liberals want if the law requires us to check ethnicity? Why in the world should it matter what color she was? She was assulted, color has no place in this or any other case.
