How about a truce between you two? A hand shake and call it even?

More fun watching them go after the lawyer boys rather than each other.

lol,..and he uses the same old, lame old pizzin' match material time after time after time.
,..has a bad habit of jumping into threads that he knows noting about and trying to sound like some kind of expert too,...like when he said that shooting a FAL would send a person to the Chiropractor.
It was obvious then that he had never fired one. You seem to be in a pretty foul mood this morning. AIPAC hitting you up for donations? Nah,..Cole Younger has been casting snide comments in my direction for a few days. He needs to go back to playing cowboys and indians. The recent course of events doesn't bode well, I'm afraid, for the long standing alliance between dwarves, men, and elves. I sense the hand of Sauron somehow in this. Hey, you leave us faery dwarfs out of this fight!!!!!

Jeff
It ends when jihadis stop throwing bombs and stop trying to impose Shari'a on the rest of us.
We are not occupiers in either Afghanistan or Iraq, we havent taken Iraq's oil or forced their people to live under tyranny. When I hear occupier I read leftist ignoramus.
The enemy is radical Islam, not merely al-Qaeda, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hamaz, Hezbollah, the Taliban or the hundreds of affiliated jihadist groups.
What your buddy Obama is doing is leaving the U.S. completely unprotected against our enemies, hell the administration has even banned the term "war on terror."
Today he stopped funding the only private institution that monitors human rights abuses in Iran.
Reason?
So as to not piss off Ahmadinejad.
Obama is a fool, when the overwhelming majority realize that, it might be too late to avoid a mushroom cloud over an American city.
If thats what you want just keep on supporting him.

To the Iraqis and Afghans we are occupiers. And as we will have to stay there for hundreds of years we are occupying the land.

Part of me wishes we could just send a bunch of Trident missiles from a sub and atomize the whole region.

Awright, just to cheer up everybody, here's a little poetry from Rudyard Kipling:
If your officer's dead and the sergeants look white, Remember it's ruin to run from a fight: So take open order, lie down, and sit tight, And wait for supports like a soldier. Wait, wait, wait like a soldier . . .
When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains, And the women come out to cut up what remains, Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains An' go to your Gawd like a soldier. Go, go, go like a soldier, Go, go, go like a soldier, Go, go, go like a soldier, So-oldier ~of~ the Queen!
Now, don't you all feel better?

Chuck Those verses remind me, for some reason, of the book 'The Forgotten Soldier' by Guy Sajer-about his adventures on the Eastern front. When Sajer was going to infantry basic, I guess you would call it, for the Gross Deustschland division, they had a sign above the entrance that stated 'we are born to die.' We are indeed...

Derby, not accepting the false occupier charge, however for the sake of argument, perhaps the Islamist might learn the lesson that if they leave us alone they will not have GIs in their godforsaken catbox countries.
I see the helmet as your screen image, did you recently serve in the military?
If so, thanks for your service.

btw we are still in S. Korea 60 years after the end of the war and we are still in Bosnia, we shouldnt make decisions based upon anything aside from what is in OUR interests and trust me, stopping the jihad is among the most important things we can do.

It doesn't offend me. I'm just perplexed as to why someone like yourself,..who idolizes Francisco Franco and Pinochet, is so picky about the type of Fascism you support.
Maybe both,....but no responsible government wages war with the cavemen of Afghanistan.
There's simply nothing to be gained by doing so.
If you can't see the difference between them and the Taliban, there's no use taking the discussion any further, but for the unenlightened, both men defeated communist governments, brought their countries back from the brink of economic and moral collapse then willingly gave up power to a freely elected government. Nothing to be gained? so what was your plan after 9/11? jorge
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

If so, thanks for your service. The reason for the helmet is that I could not find a derby which I wear. Seeing as how I wore the WWII style helmet when I was in the Guard during the Vietnam war I thought I would use that as my avatar. And your welcome.

Very true! And there are times when a man has to put his word, his beliefs, and his loved ones above his own life. Right now though, I'm not rushing it Too much interesting stuff going on. (And Sajer's book was a good read.) Chuck
