Ok guys, going to basspro with Deborah to pick up a TC Venture in .270. I will get some pics. The final donation is below. Several have sent via paypal and I got a couple of MO in mail today (I will send out PM to those I received later today). I will keep an eye out for the rest. I am going to give Deborah a check in the amount of 295 today, again because of my schedule and easier that way vs trying to wait for everything to come in.

That is all the gun the kid would need....if the extra $99 becomes a problem then the stevens 200 in 25/05 or 7mm-08 would be a hell of a good starter gun,mine in 22/250 is a nice rifle for the price. I am always amazed at how inexpensive it was to buy,how innovative Savage is in making these guns and how accurate it is.

Assuming I did this properly here is a pic of the .270 TC Venture purchase. Comes with bases so got some rings.

She looks like a very proud Mother. The boy is definitely blessed.

Ok then how about a nice set of binoculars. Vortex optics offered a scope but they also offered a set of binoculars as well if he already has a scope.

Great rifle & caliber. The Japanese have cut production cost way down on this rifle. One of the best buys available. I have a Mauser conversion in 257 Wby. w/McMillan stock that probably doesn't shoot any better & with all the refinements cost over $1,700.
