Mine; Rice-a-roni--seldom Crock pot- like to simmer chili in it... Margarine- Whats dat? God Invented butter... Alabama; That would be ANYTHING east Of Glendive Mt. for me...and definitely Quebec!( the only frogs I wanna see will have their legs in a pan of the aforementioned butter...) more... Fish- no fish with fins...shells and claws OK! Beans- there is only one edible legume, and its a peanut. Chili with beans--'nuff said... Iceberg lettuce- There are other, proper, forms of lettuce.. Ingwe

heck, my mamma lives in B'ham rest of the list is not too far off though. Add to it the show "almost home made". Boy that makes me growl. Oh, and "Top Chef" sucks. I owned and managed restaurants for 30 years. I would never have allowed that sort silliness to interfear with the bottom line.

Brussels sprouts are turd-surprise filled satanic baby cabbages.
Minute Rice is pure evil and should be banned.
Soft serve ice cream machines are a bacteriological minefield and a public health hazard.
Nearly anything from Chicago is defiled by association.
I can't decide if Light Beer is tastes like beer flavoured seltzer water, or seltzer water flavoured beer.
Red Bull tastes like a combination of children's chewable aspirin and a drunk diabetic's pi$$. [or so I imagine]

I like old, crotchety Sam and trust his cooking instincts, but might it be easier to list the few things Sam likes?

I can't speak to Sam's likes and dislikes, but I know I'm kind of strange.
I am a human garbage disposal. I like Chinese steam table buffets (getting ill yet)? I even eat the sushi at the buffets (how bout now)! I'll eat just about anything you put on my plate, but there are a couple exceptions. I wonder how strange or even unique they are.
Back when I was little, all there was to eat was Italian food, and I got sick of tomatoes. I couldn't eat them for years. Eating tuna for lunch every day, I got sick of tuna too. I like tomatoes again, but run from the smell of a can of tuna opening. Jack Daniels also has that effect. I had a half a bottle one night in camp and some evil person gave me a shot of peppermint schnapps and I was dying sick for 24 hours. I can't even open a bottle of JD without getting queasy.
I can't eat peppers either. They make me throw up in seconds and turn me inside out. Unfortunately, that has kept me from sampling most all the Mexican food and just about anything spiced with hot sauce or ground chilis.
