I like the teflon based finish that Lee at Black Ice Coatings puts on. Cerakote finishes have a texture to them that can take the slickness out of an action. The teflon based finish doesn't do that and it has held up to days walking through alders without a marr on the finish. His turn around is two to three weeks and his customer service is impeccable (returns e-mails with in 24 hrs and actually answers his phone).

I robar coated IE NP3 a couple of AR15 bolt carriers... made em slick but didn't last that long until it was worn through and they started rusting in the worn through spots...
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Thanks everybody for your opinions and help. I called and will be going to go with Brophy's in Palmer.He reminded me of a gunsmith back home in PA.Thanks for the suggestion watch4bear.
