No, thats fly fishing in the summer.

Why don't you and Sammers meet up on the S. Side of the Sun, drag a camper down to the family spread (you'd have water and a [bleep].) Just watch for Grizzlies laugh I got a feeling Mark knows the area pretty well...

I will do my BEST to get Travis a bear. We'll have to see how motivated his Buddy is. He may be my beer drinking/C1500 sneak buddy the whole time. If they don't tag out, there's ALWAYS September (I see more bears then anyhow??)

And here's another one of pigs ears, take your pic if it's me or the bruin. This is one I called in, call him Vinnie the Vinyl bear as he ate the seat off my atv the night b4 (+bit the tires) and we found pieces of the seat in his droppings...

Thx Mac, and here's another pic of the one bruin.

Just under 19" (measured years later)
340 lbs
6'7" Sq

Taken in late April. I shot him @ 17 yds as he was turning to get out of dodge and about dark thirty. Hit him on the point of the right front shoulder with my 340 and a 250 Nozler (2nd). Turns out he was heading into his den, had to play lab and fetch him. Found the 250 looking model perfect right at his tail. Long hike out that night (actually had to do the hike 2x as both my flash lights died and I had to hike out and back for a third light) but it was a good night but a long/short one.

Just an FYI for the campfire... Dober and I have been friends for the better part of a decade. Every year he calls in and looks over 50-ish bears per season. In all the time we've been friends, I don't think he's pulled the trigger on a single bear... beginning to think they've bought him off with honey or some such (grin).

Truth is, Mark enjoys the hunt more than the kill and it will likely take a boar in the top ten all-time for him to pull the trigger.

There's something about maturity as a hunter that is inspiring... Mark has that in spades.

NB my friends...
