I have a serious question for you Jeff. What good could possibly come from this legislation? Name one thing good about a bill that encompasses 1/6 of our economy being taken over by the govt. The amount of debt will be over the top. Most people can't even fathom a trillion dollars much less 10 trillion. This dem controlled govt. didn't represent the people on this, they represented themselves and an idealouge. This debate started off about taking back our country from tyrants as a direct result of this abominable bill. Defend it. I bet you can't.

What's the difference? This health bill could be paid for and them some with cutting the military down to a reasonable size.

Again PP, I read the post in its entirety when he put it up, how exactly did I get caught with my pants down? I've read your words many times about what you'd do to certain folks here, given the chance. I just take it with a grain of salt and consider the big-mouthed, hummingbird asssed source rather than getting all upset about it. Then again I am not suffering from MPH syndrome like you are.

Now you have put it out in the open that you are a Communist and would stand with America's enemies if push comes to shove. This is not anything surprising to most of us, but I'm sure it will be eye-opening to some of the people here. You are condemned by your own words.

It takes something that was about 1/2 socialized and makes it about 3/4 socialized. Big whoop.

And, of course, there's the little detail that what we have now, if you follow the trend lines forward, literally bankrupts the country, too. Health costs are rising at an insane rate. It's not something that can continue. This was a real, big, problem. Obama isn't fixing something that ain't broke here. (Not that I think he really fixed anything, mind you).

Guys.. I know you hate me, I don't really give a rip. So believe this as you will. I have two seperate "ready" guns, in two seperate places, well stocked with ammo and ready to roll. They are implements of war. Why do I have these things? Because I believe it's my duty as an American to defend this country, to defend freedom.

But for Pete's sake, "shooting the hippies" ain't it!!!!! Talking openly about killing people who differ politically, ain't it! Over a HEALTH BILL?!

Honestly, that very few here will come out and call Seafire's post what it is- [bleep]- shouldn't surprise me, but it does.

He really is that clueless. A commie who is talking about standing with his own against people who are 100% pro-American and who thinks that sacrificing national defense in order to give free medical care to hardcore drug addicts, illegals and freeloaders is a good idea.

The military is huge, bloated, being used to maintain an empire, and could be 1/3 the size and cost and function perfectly well to defend our country in any meaningful way. That's just a statement of fact- one that many MANY conservatives agree with, by the way.

Yeah a smaller military in a time we are at war makes even more sense to me now.

please understand that I am looking at the forest not the tree. Health care I could give a damn about that the only guarantee that this bill gives is my taxes are going up and my health care will continue to rise.

They are forcing people to do things they have no right to do. I now have to buy insurance if I want to or not. That is taking away my freedom. The way it was done was despicable. Don't make the mistake that they want everyone to have heath care they only want to control all of us our every move and decision. They are not going to stop there. they think they are untouchable, that they can do anything they want to. There next move will be to take away more of your freedoms against mine and your wishes. Eventually it will be our guns. Once they have that it will be our freedom of speech, religion, ect..... they want control that is it they want to be able to tell you when and how to do everything. Will it happen in my life, I don't know. we as a people will eventually have to stop what is going on. I would rather not leave that up to my kids or grandchildren. This is the path we are going down something has to give and I bet it won't be the American people.
