You think it's been bad so far, just wait till SB 787 gets legs, kiss your land and water goodby.
The older I become the more I am convinced that the voice of honor in a man's heart is the voice of GOD.

Wildwalker, I apologize for saying that. I'll be right beside you when and if the time comes.
God blessed me with a hard head and stubborn attitude, age has taught me to control them somewhat.
I share everyone's anxiety about this adminstration, I believ we can change the tide in November and drive a stake thru it's heart in the next presidential election.
Time will tell and we have some time. Okay, you and I could fight together for Freedom...though we might argue over being out in front. Making it to November is the best case scenario, and we ALL are hoping for that. But we are dealing with a different kind of animal this go 'round....mark my words.

He is a bad experiment that will innoculate us from any further move towards Socialism for a long time me thinks. That's your problem, you think before you speak...just let it puke out without thinking about it. And the damage that can be done before we get a chance to vote again? Like this administration is not capable of moving at warp speed to cement their agenda, and is doing so as we speak? Like more status-quo politics is THE only answer......... The more damage they create the more damage they do to their own party. The mob is turning ugly, how can you say nothing is being done? What can you really advocate, that you yourself are really willing to do? I don't mean wait for others to start, what is it that you are willing to do today? If you had a clear shot at Obama (the enemy) today, are you willing to take that shot?

I still believe the people have the capacity to exert tremendous pressure without resorting to violence.
I am uncertain if that will have any effect on this adminstration, so far it hasn't.
I believe a majority have reached the tipping point, in regard to Obama's schemes. If something bad does happen and I hope it doesn't, they will have brought it on themselves.

We work with, live next to, speak to and walk past hundreds of people each day who don't share our beliefs about abortion, gun rights, healthcare etc.
The fact is they are out there.
If you have read my other posts lately, you'll understand I hold the voters who put this trash in office responsible for the damage that is being inflicted on our country.
Do I consider Jeff misguided in alot of his views? Yep. I think Jeff has a habit of courting disaster by intentionally antogonizing folks on certain issue that they hold dear.
I used to go round and round with Ringworm & Tod and it got me nowhere. As distasteful as it might be, Jeff has a right to voice his opinions on here just like the rest of us.
When I see posts talking about him being killed because of an internet board dispute, it makes me wonder who is the crazy one here.
Just accept that is the way Jeff is and move on. I've seen and had to confront a helluva lot worse characters than him. Let him have his seat at the fire, debate with him if you choose to, but realize that in the line of witches that need to be burned at the stake in this world, Jeff is nowhere near the front.
JM Thanks John, that is one of the most reasonable posts on this thread I have seen so far.
Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.

Some folks are just more appalled that folks are getting a mite tired of not being represented than they are about what's going on.
They also think everyone is excited and choose to/pray for things to happen and that somehow blame lays at the feet of those who have no choices left, yet are forced to pay for them (politics) by the force of a gun.
Are you being represented to your liking even 50% of the time? If not, you are either on the lunatic fringe or you have nothing in common with your fellow citizen; which makes being a nation pretty difficult.
But they need your resources....you just need be content. It's tiresome....

There is a big difference between those who say "we should let them know", and those who say this is the time to do so. IMHO it is still way to early for that, we have just begin to swing the pendulum back. I wish many would had been this passionate and outspoken as they sent all our jobs overseas. Keep in mind the reaction America would have towards the other side if they were to advocate overthrow of a government we voted in.

The only revolution I'm advocating is at the ballot box. I'm telling ya'll, Obama will turn out to be the best wake up call this country has had in a while.
His policies are uniting more folks in opposition everyday. He will do himself in by revealing what he truly is, a Socialist, who's buried up to his ass with problems regarding Israel, The Middle East, North Korea and Iran.
Combine that with his unpopular domestic agenda, a weak economy, possible tax hikes and the Dems are facing a wipeout come election time.

If you had a clear shot at Obama (the enemy) today, are you willing to take that shot? I'm going to answer that. No, No way. Obama is not the problem, THE PEOPLE ARE THE PROBLEM! He is just a manifistation of the shallow self serving will of the people. It's the weakness of the people that sits in the whitehouse, pure and simple. It's Obama, but it might just as well be someone else just as bad. He is just the head of the snake, the body was made by our own citizens. So unless the minds of the people are changed, the head does not make a differance.
The older I become the more I am convinced that the voice of honor in a man's heart is the voice of GOD.

JM Thanks John, that is one of the most reasonable posts on this thread I have seen so far. And your tag line is then so ironic........ Things have not gotten to the point of resorting to violence, at least not yet. We survived Carter, Clinton, and even Bush, we will survive Obama too. We survived the creation of Social Security and Medicare, and we will survive Obamacare as well. If, and that's a big if, free speech is ever curtailed and gun confiscation begins, it will be time, but we are a long ways from that. My tag line comes from a discussion on the 2nd amendment several years ago and it applies to many other things as well. I can tell you that members of both political parties over the years have been guilty of increasing the power of government over the individual.
Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.
There is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth.
