I'd have taken McCain or another run of Bush ANY day over Obama, if you think Obama has been a blessing, I'd suggest you need to step back and disregard all the stuff going on here, especially in this thread, and you need to clear your head and start seeing clearly again. I can say I voted Republican and damn sure don't regret it one bit.

Jeff talks of the radical right starting the shooting another huge miscalculation. If shooting starts it will come from the radical left, people like obama's buddy Bill Ayers.

I wish we would finally have a candidate worth voting for. McCain sure as hell wasn't it, but I pulled the lever.
Palin isn't the ticket either, but at least she has as close to the right ideas as we need. Her lack of tact and green on the issues, leaves her cold with me.

I'm anxious to see who steps up in the coming months to fill the spot. It will take a dominant candidate to get us out of this mess, but I fear we won't have the time to see them come to office.
