Well, i got it home and away we went to the range. First of all i'm very impressed with Rugers fit and finish job. The trigger breaks clean but is a little heavy for me. A spring kit will fix that. These are very well made pistols. On to the shootin. I loaded up 50 rounds in virgin WW 44Spl brass with WLP primers. Poured in 6gr of W231 and toped it off with a 240gr hardcast from HMS. It took 10 rounds to get it sighted in. Then i proceeded to cut the "little" red diamond out of the redfield target with the other 40.
Thats about a 2" group off hand at 15 yards. Needless to say i'm Very Happy with my little Ruger 44Spl. I need more lead!
