I'm right with Drew on that one. IMHO there isn't a 300T in the world worth $1900. 303 and 30-30 maybe, 250 or HP definitely. But then again, Drew and I don't get to determine market value, buyers and sellers determine price and market value.
A gun is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. Just boils down to what is any particular gun worth to you?

Here is another dirty little secret people don't like to talk about. That $1900 bid on that T might not even be a real bid. It might be somebody that knows what the reserve is trying to run the price up for the seller. Beware of reserve style auctions. You don't know who is bidding, what they know that you don't know or what their motivations are.

the raised ramp should have been the give away but the forearm looks to have 3 points to the rear... all of the checkered F's that I knew of had forearm checkering just like a G... might just be the picture.
I would like to find a few decent F's... I had one for a while but sold it recently but it was just not quite right.
Congrats... post some more closer up pics... we all love to see pictures and drool...
drew or any 1 have a pic of rear sight 4 that f would like get 1 year 37 38 wont use it but wen gone son 10 opens safe appreciates its . I SURE DO HOPE
I am not a real big fan of the pre-war F's, I like the G's from that time period better, but I would definitely grab an F like that if I were ever to stumble across one.
Great lookn' gun.

Drew Thanks for posting s/n on my rifle is 378578, I think that would be 1938. Must be getting late in the serial range. For those interested in prices this one cost approx $850.00USD
Randy, its 250 sav, my dream would be to find a companion in 22 h.p, thats not going to happen down here.
Our prices are much lower in general terms than the US. I am trying to find an auction ctalogue from maybe 8 years ago with beatiful color pics of a 99K, I was able to handle the rifle and it was as close to mint as ive ever seen. It sold for $2,000.00AUD that would be about $1,850.00USD. I just could'nt get the money together, guess we have all been there. The other thing I missed a few years back was a 1920, 250-3000 till with the original box and papers and 2 boxes of ammo. This rifle was written up in an aussie gun mag, have tried to track it but no luck
