The type of M2's Shreriff Joe needs are Bradley's! About a platoons worth. 25mm would be much better than the 50 cal.

Glad this was clarified. Saw M2 and was thinking....so what?

Wow I was thinking, not much to fear there. Then I saw the apc thing and figured Joe weren't gonna get one to haul an M2 around, so I realized it was one of these.

But I always had a soft spot for these:

Yep, we got 4 Huey UH1D's, two flyable and two for parts and 3 4WD GMC 3/4 ton trucks plus 5 Deuce & a half's. And that was only 2 trips up to Rucker.

That isn't puff that is a Spooky or a Spectre....IIRC "puff" was a DC-3 with guns.

Actually was a C-47 (civilian version was called DC-3)
AC130 gunships are Specters.
(Unlike Arlen, they attack the enemy) grin

Puff and Spooky were one and the same. C-47 w/ minis

An interim variant was the C-119 and was called Shadow or Stinger based on configuration.

Spectre is the C130...since around 1968 as I recall. It's weapons have included the 40mm Bofors, 20mm Vulcan and 105mm howitzer.

Phan Rang AFB also had the C-119 Shadow-- They helped me set up the Mini-- Not as popular as Puff-- but very effective -- http://www.ac-119gunships.com/ If I can remember -- The Shadow there had 2 mini 7.62 and 2 Vulcan 20mm Web
